Physical Description: Jeffery Kincaid has dark hair and eyes. He likes to keep his hair short and out of his eyes. He tends to get a hair cut on a bi-weekly basis to keep it that way. He has brown eyes. Jeffery Kincaid is approximately 5’8” weighing in at about 145 pounds. He’s a wirery frame but most of his weight comes from the muscles he’s built over the years working in the Warder’s Yards under Reikan Souvan, Master at Arms.

Character History:
Jeffery Kincaid was born to Matalina and Vanair Sharkan 19 years ago in Cairhein, Cairhein. Matalina took on a caretaker for him soon after his birth as she carried out darkfriend duties. Lila was to be his caretaker and surrogate mother when Matalina returned to Tar Valon.
Matalina returned to Tar Valon one and a half years after his birth where she resumed her duties as Warder to Raeyn Sedai. Raeyn was like an Aunt to Jeffery Kincaid and he liked her very much even as a baby. Vanair wasn’t around long after his son was born and he left for his own purposes and Jeffery Kincaid hasn’t seen him since.
Matalina visited Jeffery Kincaid every chance she got and Lila impressed upon Jeffery Kincaid that she was his mother and that Lila was only his caretaker. Lila tended the gardens in the back of the small house that Matalina had grown up in. When Jeffery Kincaid was old enough to help tend the garden Lila set him to pulling weeds. At first Jeffery Kincaid pulled up all the plants not knowing the difference but Lila nor his mother stressed over it, they only explained the differences until he caught on to the herb lore that they were trying to teach him.
Jeffery Kincaid was also schooled in reading, writing and arithmatic by Lila and Matalina. He was also taught many ways of the Warders from the moment he started watching Matalina practice the sword. Matalina taught him the Flame and Void, of different weapons and presented him his own sword perfectly balanced for his small frame at the age of six. Jeffery Kincaid wasn’t allowed to touch the weapon with out guidance from his mother or his new friend Coran.

Jeffery Kincaid had met Coran in the Yards while Matalina was showing him a few things while she waited for her next trainee to show up. They’d spent much time together but Jeffery Kincaid didn’t feel that he was his father, only a friend.
Matalina started seeing Alexander Namere and the three of them spent many hours together. Jeffery Kincaid like Alex as well and he knew his Mother liked the man alot. He only wished for her happiness. Shortly after meeting Alex, Jeffery Kincaid was given a new oppurtunity.
Reikan Souvan had impressed upon his mother to take him on as a Page in the Yards. Jeffery Kincaid was excited and was even more thrilled after his mother granted him permission. Although Jeffery Kincaid saw less of his mother now, she was only a short walk away at any time. Jeffery Kincaid was happy that he’d been given this chance to learn from a great swordsman and looked forward to his adventures with Reikan.
Matalina again left the yards for nearly 2 years, returning with a daughter. The girl was Alex’s baby and Jeffery Kincaid felt a bit left out, when he saw Alex he asked him if he could be his dad too. Alex agreed as did Matalina. Alex became the father that Jeffery Kincaid never knew. When Alex and his mother broke up Jeffery Kincaid was saddened but he continued to call Alex Dad and futher their relationship.
While Matalina was gone a man had taken Jeffery Kincaid from his room outside of Reikan’s office. They made him work but it was the beginning of his decent from the Tower, as the man who had kidnapped him sauntered past the Tower Gates with Jeffery Kincaid causing a fuss, the man lied, and a passing Aes Sedai gagged Jeffery Kincaid with the one power. This set forth Jeffery Kincaid’s distrust of the Aes Sedai, all but Raeyn Sedai, who he’d known all his life.

Jeffery Kincaid worked very hard under Reikan Souvan for nearly 13 years. He had picked up many things from Reikan, his mother and the other men and women of the Yards. He didn’t have any formal training but everyone made sure that the Page of Reikan Souvan knew what he was talking about. Jeffery Kincaid may not have known how to pick up and weild every weapon in the armory, but he could tell you about them with out hesitation, including maintenance. Jeffery Kincaid practiced the Flame and Void on a daily basis. He didn’t have much opportunity to use it in combat situations, but he could hold it for as long as he needed to, he knew that he could do it if he ever got into a major fight.
Jeffery Kincaid was given a sword by his mother that had once been hers. It was plain but well balanced. It was custom made by Loari in the Yard’s Armory. Jeffery Kincaid took to wearing the sword at his waist despite the fact he’d rather use the quarterstaff. It was a less inconspicuous weapon. He could use either weapon to decent proficiency, Reikan and Matalina made sure of that, as did Alex.
At the age of 10 Matalina left the White Tower never to return. Jeffery Kincaid didn’t know really why she had left he only knew that she had and that she was dead to the Tower and never likely to come back. Jeffery Kincaid spent 6 years in the Tower before he got a letter from a woman named Cari Namere. The letter gave clues to who it was and Jeffery Kincaid vowed that when he was finished with the Tower he would go visit his mother in Cairhein.
At the age of 19 Fawne found out that Matalina had been trying to keep in touch with her and went with Alex to see her. Jeffery Kincaid didn’t go, and Alex didn’t return. Shortly afterwards Jeffery Kincaid left the White Tower to travel the world. He went to Cairhein and visited his mother, and then went off into the world to make his own way. Jeffery Kincaid found himself in Amador at an inn wondering where life would take him.
Jeffery Kincaid found his life taking him into the depths of the Fortress of Light. Two months passed and Jeffery Kincaid was beginning his training in the fortress when he came to a situation that would change his life forever.
A man in an inn threatened a friends life. A small verbal fight insued and then the man had died. Jeffery Kincaid suspected he did it. He had been thinking “Shut Up!” when the man reached around his throat and started gasping for air. Jeffery Kincaid fled in fear, he wasn’t sure if they could pin it on him, or if he had really done it. But there were things in his life he wasn’t going to gamble with. Being in Amador and something he did could be pinned on him would get him his death, he didn’t want that, so he ran away from what had become his home. He went to seek help at the only place he could, his mother.
Note: Cari will send Jeffery Kincaid to Tear as she is aware of recruiting for the Dragon there. He is not a darkfriend and she wouldn’t risk anyone of note taking notice of her son. To be rp’d out.
